POOCH PEANUT BUTTER SWIRLS
Dough #1
4 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup cornmeal
1 1/3 cups water
1/3 cup peanut butter
1 egg
Dough #2
4 cups whole wheat flour
2/3 cup cornmeal
1/2 cup banana - mashed
1 egg
1 1/4 cups water
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons molasses
2 tablespoons cinnamon
Combine all #1 ingredients and mix thoroughly. Knead on a lightly floured surface. Set aside.
Combine all #2 ingredients and mix thoroughly. Knead on a lightly floured surface.
Roll each dough separately to a 1/8 inch thickness, into rectangles. Lightly brush water over the top of the light dough.
Place the dark dough on top of the light dough and roll up like a jelly roll. Wrap the roll in plastic and chill in the freezer for one hour.
Cut the roll into 1/4 inch slices and place on a cookie sheet that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.
Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
